Hamed Al Abri

Hamed Al Abri is a Senior New Technology Advisor at Petroleum Development Oman LLC (PDO) with over 13 years of experience in Oil and Gas sector in Oman.  He has a Bachelor degree in Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engineering and a Master degree in Control & Automation Engineering. He has worked in different positions at PDO taking various key roles and responsibilities with many hands-on experiences. He has vast knowledge in multi-engineering   roles   and   experience   in   all   phases   of   project   delivery   from, Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, detail design, and Procurement through to Construction execution including project handover and commissioning with a wealth experience in project   engineering, stakeholder management, engineering management   and   contract   management capabilities. 

Hamed has a rich on-hand   experience   in   problem   solving   and   developing   new   ways   of   working entailing corporate planning, energy transition, new technology implementation   and   digital transformation.   He has also worked   in   skill    pool    management    and organization design   with   an   in-depth   experience   in   developing   capability   strategies and resource planning along with addressing people issues.
